Baptcare delivers a broad range of community, health and social services across Victoria and Tasmania. As a large not-for-profit organisation with diverse service offerings, identifying and assessing funding opportunities across multiple government and philanthropic sources had become an increasingly complex and time-sensitive process.
The Project Lab was engaged to help streamline funding opportunity identification, tender monitoring and early-stage assessment activities. Working closely with Baptcare stakeholders, we established a structured approach to evaluating opportunities, supporting decision-making and improving the efficiency of tender and grant processes across the organisation.
As a not-for-profit social services enterprise providing services in Home Care, Residential Aged Care, Retirement Living, Disability Care, Mental Health Care, Family & Community Care, and Housing, Baptcare relies on local, state and Commonwealth funding. The Project Lab's Tender Monitoring and pre-assessment service supports Baptcare to identify and evaluate grant and funding opportunities.
By establishing a structured approach to tender monitoring, funding opportunity assessment and bid governance, The Project Lab helped Baptcare create a more consistent and strategic process for pursuing funding opportunities aligned with its mission and growth objectives.
Most importantly, Baptcare gained a repeatable and scalable approach to identifying, evaluating and pursuing funding opportunities. This provided greater confidence that resources were being directed toward the right opportunities, while supporting the organisation's ability to grow services and continue delivering positive outcomes for the communities it serves.
