Place on the team
At The Project Lab, Sophie is passionate about helping projects and changes land smoothly. She believes successful change happens when people understand not only what is changing, but why it matters and how it will affect them. By distilling complex information into clear, practical messages, she helps organisations cut through noise and build confidence during periods of transition.
Sophie enjoys working closely with clients to understand their objectives, challenges and ways of working, recognising that no two organisations are the same. She thrives on turning problems that seem destined for the "too hard basket" into achievable realities and helping clients see what is possible. She also values The Project Lab’s commitment to being Bold, embracing opportunities to think creatively, challenge assumptions and approach problems with courage and curiosity.
Make it Matter
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys good coffee, painting, spending time with her children and caring for a collection of farm animals, while also providing emotional support to her cats. Living in North West Tasmania, she loves the stunning coastal scenery and the sense of connection the region provides, not least because it is where she met her partner.
For Sophie, downtime and space to recharge are essential. She finds inspiration in a blank page and the possibilities it represents, whether that's the beginning of a creative project, a fresh challenge or an opportunity to help a client bring an ambitious idea to life.
